I taught 2 online workshops this year!

The first was June 23 at 12-2 pm CT for Ceramic Arts Network.

I explored covered jars with sgraffito! In this 2-hour workshop, I demonstrated how to throw a medium-sized oval jar and decorate it with sgraffito. The workshop covered throwing and ovaling the form, making a well-fitting lid, adding handles and knobs, how to have success with sgraffito, and much more!

on September 10th, “Pitcher This” for FrankArts. We made hand-built pitchers, added pulled handles and decorated them. Participants received 2 ewer templates they could print out and use.

I taught a comprehensive virtual workshop on Surface Decoration October, 2020 for FrankArts!  You can still purchase access to “Flora and Fauna Sgraffito Decoration”, get a 2 hour recording here.
